Hello coloring friends and artists!
We have been practicing all the prescribed measures for taking care of ourselves and our loved ones. It’s hard not being around the people we love most and are used to seeing. But, we are all in this together and have to do our best. Today I had a visit from my daughter and her three kids on their bikes. They stood out on the sidewalk while we were in the house. It was almost painful for me not to get a hug from them. They live only three blocks away from me, and I am so used to their hugs. It is snowing now, but they made it here just before the flakes started.
I filmed a video of drawing a feather. It is easy, and you can follow along step by step. Just stop the video with your space bar when you need to. Hit the space bar when you want it to get going again. It is a fun drawing to make and you can fill the outlined parts of any kind of doodle that you want. At the end, I outline the whole feather with a thicker pen and color in some little features for emphasis. It’s fun and you can’t make a mistake.
Again, I am being thankful for my creative nature. I don’t know what I would do without my colored pencils, markers, paint and brushes. (Especially the glitter ones.) I love sparkle! I am passing on one of my favorite coloring mandalas from my Christmas Coloring book. You can see how I colored it. Pass it on to a friend who likes to color.

Here’s some soothing music I found to listen to while coloring. It is three hours long. If you are going to color that long, get up and stretch. Sometimes I set a time after 20 minutes so I remember to get up and move around.
