Summertime Art and Coloring July 16

Hi Coloring Friends!
Our summer has been a hot one in Illinois. I’ve been enjoying swimming during the day and artwork at night. All the work I do is very relaxing and calming. I didn’t think the pandemic was bothering me too much, but I decided there must be a reason for anxiety that has been building up. When that happens, I try to do more swimming and more artwork.
I have been trying my hand at minimalist artwork which seems to be very popular now. There are simple two tone pictures, faceless pictures, and pictures with minimal lines and textures. I love doing the work so much that I put some samples up on my portrait etsy shop at: . Take a peek at some of them. Here’s one of them.

There are also some therapeutic drawings that I made into videos. You can see a picture below of one of the line drawings from a video that I colored. It takes a while (like several hours), but I can guarantee that you will focus on the coloring and your worries will fall away.  There is another one of this type of drawing that looks like a mountain. You can check my youtube channel to find both of these videos,’sart.

Lastly, I have a Stars and Stripes Mandalas for you to download. This is just a free download, it is not ready for coloring on the digital colorer. Please check out the other free mandalas that you can download or digitally color on the page without an app. You will find them on my posts at or at
